For Mother's Day John surprised me with some photo editing software and my own website to display my photos.

I've been wanting to start a photography business for a while now but have a hard time STARTING anything ambitious... I'm grateful for a husband who motivates me and believes in me.

Myla turns 13 in less than 2 weeks!!! YIKES!!!

13 is such a big year... starting the TEENAGE years

I decided to take her out and do a photo shoot to document this special year.

She was self conscious of her braces. I absolutely love them!

After all, braces are just part of being a 13 year old.

Lil sis was with us so I snapped a few of her... she's just too cute to pass up.

After Ash saw her pictures she said "Mom, you did such a good job! Daang I look good!"

Myla and I just started laughing... that's my little Deedlebug- so confident;)

I think someone's discovered a way to earn some quick cash...

Jad lost ANOTHER tooth today

He quickly put this baby pearl safely into a baggie...

he lost his last one down the drain as he was "sparkling" it up for the Tooth Fairy

My boy's growing up... nothing I can do about it

Started the week with a trip to the dentist and Ash had her first cavity.

She was NOT happy AT ALL about getting a shot and a filling (or that I was taking pictures)

A lot of whimpering and nervous jolting coming from this little diva while the dentist tried very carefully to fill the cavity... she survived

Then, Jad's second front tooth was sooo wiggly he could spin it around in his mouth and poke it through his closed lips but it would not come out.

We all agreed the tooth had to go, it just was not cute- at all!

Myla offered him the rest of her pack of gum if he would let her pull it out... the offering was too good... they disappeared into the bathroom and came out 2 min later with a big smile, a tooth in hand and a pack of gum

Then, BIG NEWS... Myla got braces!

Royce was feeling a little left out so we took some pictures of his perfect baby teeth...

gotta enjoy 'em while ya got'em

Jad lost one of his cute, little, perfect, white front teeth today...

still handsome as can be

The weather is FINALLY getting nice here.

We decided to go to the school playground and teach our 4 year old "baby" how to ride a bike without training wheels...

he said he wanted to learn...

but was too worried about the people around who might be watching

he gave it a try but we'll have to try again when NO ONE else is around

Jad played basketball...

the girls had headstand contests...

then Jad joined in...

and Royce too...

I love when my kids get along and play together.

So glad it's Spring
